2. Information we collect

• Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture (Google scopes: openid, email, profile).
• Google Gmail (send-only) (scope gmail.send) — with your consent, KOBI can send emails that you compose and approve inside KOBI. This permission allows sending only; we do not read, search, download, or store your inbox or any existing messages.
• Google Calendar data (scope calendar.events) — only after you connect Calendar and use a scheduling feature, we access your calendar events so KOBI can show and reason about your schedule and create or update events on your behalf when you ask it to.
• Google Tasks data (scope tasks) — only after you connect Tasks and use a task feature, we access your task lists so KOBI can read your tasks and create, update, complete, or delete them on your behalf when you ask it to.
• Content you create — workspaces, documents, prompts, and other content you add to the Service.
• Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser and device type, and analytics events used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

3. How we use Google user data

We request the minimum Google scopes needed for the features you choose to use, and we access Google user data only when you actively trigger a feature that needs it — never in the background for unrelated purposes.

• Account sign-in (openid, email, profile) — to create and secure your account, authenticate you, and show your name and profile picture in the workspace.
• Gmail (gmail.send) — to send emails on your behalf that you have composed and approved inside KOBI (for example, a reply an agent drafted for you). This scope only permits sending; KOBI cannot read, search, or access your inbox or existing messages.
• Calendar (calendar.events) — to power KOBI’s scheduling features: reading your events to display and reason about your schedule, and creating or updating events only when you ask KOBI to (for example, to book a meeting an agent has planned).
• Tasks (tasks) — to power KOBI’s task features: reading your task lists to display and reason about your to-dos, and creating, updating, completing, or deleting tasks only when you ask KOBI to.
• We use Google user data solely to provide and improve these user-facing features. We do not use it to train generalized AI models, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.
• Humans do not read your Google user data except where you explicitly request support, where required for security or to investigate abuse, or where required by law.

4. Limited Use disclosure

KOBI AI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In particular, we only use data obtained from Google APIs to provide and improve user-facing features that are prominent in the Service, we do not transfer this data except as necessary to provide those features (or for security, legal compliance, or as part of a merger or acquisition), and we do not use it for serving advertisements or allow humans to read it except in the limited cases described above.

5. How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
• To personalize and improve features and AI output.
• To communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers (subprocessors) — cloud hosting and AI model providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, solely to operate the Service.
• Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users and the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

7. Data storage and security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account or revoke access, we delete or de-identify your personal information and associated Google user data within a reasonable period, unless we are required to retain it by law.

9. Your rights and choices

• Access, correct, or export the personal information we hold about you.
• Delete your account and associated data (see section 10).
• Revoke KOBI's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing where applicable.

10. Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data — including any cached Google user data — by emailing founder@kobi-ai.com. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Revoking access via your Google Account settings also stops all further data access by KOBI.

11. International data transfers

KOBI AI operates from Thailand and may process data in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for cross-border transfers.

12. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can delete it.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
